With Task Manager open scroll down to the bottom of the Processes tab, click on Windows Explorer and then click Restart. Close all File Explorer windows, right-click anywhere on the taskbar and select Task Manager from the context menu. Restart Windows Explorer to see your WinX changes. The new setup should look similar to what’s pictured here. Drag-and-drop the new shortcut from the desktop into the WinX folder. Once that’s done, return to File Explorer and delete the current Control Panel shortcut. In the past I found that when I was running Citrix Edgesight alongside another application that dynamically linked to the same C++Runtime Libraries that it would cause issues with the application not being on screen, but still running in the background.
